Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre
Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is a unique performing arts venue located on the beautiful, historic University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus in Camrose, 74 KM south of Edmonton.
The facility was built through the collaborative efforts of the City of Camrose and the University of Alberta. It was conceived of as a performance space to celebrate our cultural achievements and provide access to the performing arts for the community.
The Arts Centre presents a multi-disciplinary season of approximately 30 artists within 4 series. The Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is home to two performance spaces. The Cargill Theatre, a 584 seat fly house. Featuring an automated fly system along with state of the art sound, lighting and projection systems.
The Mayer Family Community Hall a multi use flexible space that can be configured to accommodate between 124 and 180 people seated, either at tables or theatre style. It can be used for smaller scale performances or rehearsals. The room features a sprung floor, and a full lighting, sound and projection system
